EaseVectorSpace

Trait EaseVectorSpace

Source
pub trait EaseVectorSpace: VectorSpace<Scalar = f32> { }
Expand description

Marker trait that indicates:

  • a) A type that supports the mathematical operations of a f32 vector space, irrespective of dimension. See VectorSpace
  • b) The type can be used for easing curve

This trait was introduced since implementing the Ease trait for all VectorSpace implementors isn’t possible over crate boundaries. This is because the crate defining the VectorSpace trait could always add new implementations that can create conflicts in the crate using the trait. Hence we have to explicitly mark each type that should support the easing functionality.

Dyn Compatibility§

This trait is not dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
