pub struct PhysicsQuarantineEvent {
pub context: Entity,
pub bodies: Vec<Entity>,
pub colliders: Vec<Entity>,
pub soft_bodies: Vec<Entity>,
}Expand description
Event emitted after a simulation step during which Rapier detected non-finite (NaN or infinite) state and neutralized it.
Each reported rigid-body was rolled back to its last valid pose (when known), had its
velocities and forces zeroed, and was disabled inside of Rapier; each reported collider was
disabled inside of Rapier; each reported soft body was disabled and had its velocities zeroed
(its non-finite particle positions are left as is). The plugin mirrors this by inserting
RigidBodyDisabled, ColliderDisabled or SoftBodyDisabled on the quarantined
entities. Once the offending state is fixed (e.g. by writing a finite Velocity,
Transform or Collider, or by moving the particles with
RapierSoftBody::set_particle_position), remove that component to re-enable the entity. A
warning is also logged for each event.
Fields§
§context: EntityThe entity of the Rapier context in which the non-finite state was detected.
bodies: Vec<Entity>The rigid-body entities quarantined during the step.
colliders: Vec<Entity>The collider entities quarantined during the step (because their own geometry or position became non-finite).
soft_bodies: Vec<Entity>The soft-body entities quarantined during the step (because a particle’s position or velocity became non-finite).
